    525W for £60

    Is this PSU any good?
Seems a good price for such a high power output
Also has some kind of "3rd Generation" fan thingy im not too sure of

Might bear this in mind as an upgrade to my Q-Tec if anyone can recommend it...

Hiper are superb PSU's. Excellent rails and a fairly good ripple rating.
The older ones had reliability issues (ie, failed after a few months). Thankfully they never took anything with them.
Ive heard this has been resolved now, if this is the case, id have no problem with running one in my system

Thank you agent, thats the kind of reassurance I need
If i hadn't just blown 80 quid on a home cinema system i(see audio/visual arena)I'd get that PSU, but as im now broke i can't... i'll keep my eye on Hiper tho, if they've been credited by you, they must be good!

For £3 more I would recommend this: http://www.scan.co.uk/Products/Produ...roductID=59492
becuase it has seperate rails and 3% regulation, instead of 5% which I think the hypers have..

Note htis psu is exactly the same as Antec 550w.
