The Final Pre-Build Thread – Buying Tomorrow
Hey Guys,
This is the last thread about my new build.... well ok the last thread about spec etc because I'm going to be ordering her in the morning. I've got my “final” list of components all sorted now and just wanted some final opinions incase I have missed anything out or if I need to tweak anything before going ahead with it.
Scan custom OC Ivy Bridge Bundle:
CPU - i5 3570k
Cooler – Corsair H100
RAM – Corsair DDR3 Vengeance Racing Red
MOB – ASRock Fatal1ty Z77 Professional
OS – Windows 7 HP 64bit
GPU – 3GB XFX Radeon HD 7970 Black
PSU – Corsair 650w Enthusiast series (modular)
Other Components:
Case – NZXT Phantom 410 Black
HDD – 2TB Seagate Barracuda 7200rpm
SSD – 256GB Crucial M4
Drives – Pioneer Blu-ray Writer
Drives – DVD Writer
Drives – NZXT Sentry II Fan controller
Monitor:
Dell UltraSharp 2412M
The only other thing I would like to change would be to have the case used red and white LEDs in the case and on the fans. How would I go about this?
Well Thats everything, if anyone has any advice on what I'm missing or need to change I'm open to ideas now because come tomorrow morning when Scan opens I'm ordering it :D

Looks good thus far, just remember to budget well when buying fans/lighting as you'll soon hit the £50 mark if not careful!

Ouch how much is all that setting ya back?
Build looks good mind you.
Re: The Final Pre-Build Thread – Buying Tomorrow
The change the lights (well the only real lighting is from the led fans) you could ether get a soldering iron out and mod the fans to swap the led's or replace the fans with red led fans.
if you want to put some lighting in there, I'd suggest getting an led strip light, they work better the cold cathode tubes, ccf can often be off in the colour spectrum, if you want case light to match fan led's then you'll get better results with led lights.
Although I'd warn against mixing light colours, remember light is refraction and reflection, it's not like mixing paint.

Well new fans sounds easier than the soldering option. Any advice on what LED fans to get (I had been looking at the NZXT LED fans). Yeah I had noticed that NZXT also make led stripps ready to just install, are these the type your meaning??
Thanks
