Question Wanted: Socket A mb /w 4 x SATA + Dual channel DDR

    Hello motherboard gurus.

I am looking for a Socket A motherboard with 4 Serial ATA connectors and Dual chanel DDR. The various incarnations of nForce2 Ultra 400, as well as the Via KT880 chipset all support this configuration. I prefer the Ultra 400GB - (sometimes called the MCP2-T chipset I think)

But I am either not looking hard enough or there does not exist such a board :-(

Does anybody know of such a beast?

    _Hartz

P.S. I'm quietly hoping a board with 4 SATA headers will support RAID 1+0 for SATA!

P.P.S Have anybody done any performance tests / benchmarks on Raid 1+0 configurations, either S-ATA or P-ATA ?

DFI NF2 Ultra Infinity & LANParty B are the only ones that I know of off the top of my head that are readily available.
However, the Sil 3114 is slower than the 2 channel SiL3112 plus this all goes through the PCI bus so you can potentially get bus saturation.
Also the DFI's are known for having some other "issues" but if you get them running properly are very fast.

The new EpoX using the 400Gb southbridge also has Sil3114 which actually gives it 6 SATA connections (2 native on sb) but not available yet.
Of course the 400Gb sb loses the SoundStorm Audio of the MCP-T if that is a consideration.
