    Selling a full tower case

I have a ATCS 840 and quite honestly, it's a beast and too much for what I want.

Im thinking of going the midi-tower route, a touch quieter with a sound dampening kit.

How the hell am I going to sell something like this, it would cost £15 to post!?

    Any ideas..

£15, wow. My current Coolermaster iTower 930 costs £30+ to post.

I would let someone pick it up for collection, you are not going to find many couriers that will take it. Or take it into a local computer shop.

Re: Selling a full tower case

Whats the size of the box (thus dimensions to use for courier) and weight (this is case plus box/contents)?

What will you be valuing the case at too?

    Apologies, just being lazy!

If you don't mind, just go to Interparcel.com, you'll see postage is under £10. Their Economy service uses UPS.

Apologies again, long day.....I know no excuse.

    Thanks.

Re: Selling a full tower case

I guess i'll try and shift it at a bargain price to get people interested in buying it. Maybe £15 is cheap, I agree.

Sell the case for maybe £80?

Re: Selling a full tower case

Yes just make sure people realise it's not going to be cheap to post.
Going collection only will massively drop the price you can get for it, simply because you'll be greatly reducing the range of people who would be willing/able to collect it.

If you where selling on fleabay you'd probably get around £60 for it collection only, if you're willing to ship it then probably around £130 inc p&p

Re: Selling a full tower case

I'm sorry, did Interparcel not give you a shipping quote of less than £10 via Yodel48 and/or its Economy service (UPS)?

Had a look last night and definitely gave me prices under £10 with £50 cover as standard.

Give it away on Freecycle...that's how I always get rid of my cases, at least someone will benefit from it. Too much hassle to box them up.
