Am on my phone right now and is a lot to try and take in but I do quite like the idea of a second larger SSD to act as a games drive and a separate SSD as a boot drive.

My original choice was the 550D but read a lot of bad things about the sides not sitting flush with the case.

With all of the sudden movements in the GPU market in going to hold off 4-8 weeks let ATI and nVidia have their price war and see what's left at the end no point buying now when prices might drop in a few weeks!

Just want to say that SWTOR has issues, it is nothing to do with your card, I can have major fps drops in the fleet and pvp at times with my 460 and at other busier times have 60+ fps at the same place, the swtor forumites have worked it out to being a problem with the way particle effects are being rendered, and even people with 580's\7970's are being affected at random, it will be something they eventually patch.

If you haven't already, try turning Vsync Off. I normally leave it on for games to prevent possible tearing but SWTOR seems to have implemented it a performance crippling way. All of my friends have seen some to drastic FPS increases by disabling it. One who has an old Nvidia 260 went from sub 30 to 60 FPS in fleet just by disabling Vsync on the SWTOR client. I went from 40-60 (cap) with intermittent "stuttering" to 75-110 and silky smooth on my 7970 by disabling it. Although another friend with a 480 has noticed some occasional tearing, not sure which driver version he's using though.
