    Which RAM?

I want to get a gig of RAM to keep Farcry happy!

1GB of DDR400 from Crucial will be £115. Should i buy the Crucial or get some crucial value/Geil Value?

I'm only 15 so £115 is a lot of money, so nothing like £250 Corsair will be ending up on ym doorstep!

    Thanks
    Ben

I've always found Crucial to be very reliable stuff! I've used it for years in PC's at home & work. Always a sound purchase imo.

Even if you had £250, it would be a waste to spend all that extra of the Corsair stuff, as the difference is very small.

A gig of Crucial DDR400 will be more than enough to sort Far Cry out.

Just to hijack this, will far cry perform better with 1GB of RAM as opposed to 512MB of RAM?

Yes. Farcry uses 860mb + ram at times which is why it jerks like a biatch if you dont have a gig

That 3200 looks a bloody good price if its guaranteed to run at those timings. Interested to know how it runs.

I don't think Crucial would want to soil there excellent reputation buy selling duff ram, I bet if anything the speed/timings are conservative.

Is Hexus doing a review btw ?
