Ive been waiting so long for the SN95G5 and today they relese the specs...
240 watt PSU!!
A sales rep from shuttle assured me it would have a 350 watt unit in there
looks like I wont be able to put my 6800Gt in there with a FX53 now
Oh Heeeeeeeeeeeeeeexus.. Do you have one for testing yet for which you might be able to answer this very question?

They allready have one acording to this image : http://img.hexus.net/v2/sff/shuttle/...tacked_big.jpg
Yeah but it's a real 240W, rather than a Qtec 60000W.
Like mega super hyper PC speakers that are rated at 1000W PMPMPMPMOWRMS!!1 Which have a 0.5W output.
It might be enough...
Hello
I know the 6800 GT is more demanding than the 6800 non-Ultra, but I have the latter running happily in my Shuttle without problem (on a 220W PSU). Naturally power consumption depends on what else is running, but I believe others have run GT cards in their Shuttles.
Kind Regards

The 350w in the "P" case is only needed because its powering a Prescott and a PCI-E slot and allows three hard drives.
Anandtech has tested the 6800GT with the SK83G and it works a treat, the SN95G5 won't be any different, it will work just fine.Originally Posted by Huddy
I think the reason that the 240W PSU is used is because the on-die memory controller in the Athlon 64 939 cpu forcing the ram slots to sit under the PSU.
