PC to Audio Receiver?

I would only buy the Creatie X-Fi Titanium HD or the Asus Essence STX. I have the Creative card and it's MILES better than any othe card they've ever made. The New recon cards are worse quality than the older XI-Fi cards! If you have bought one send it back!

Well I haven't bought anything yet (I'm waiting until payday next week), does the Titanium HD support the DDL setting that I need for the Astro A40 headset??

Also, I had a replacement optical cable arrive this morning and its working fine so the problem was with the first cable and not my Receiver or Motherboard ^_^

I have had issues with optical sound dropping on rare oocasions. Happened when my PC was processing lots of data at once.
