    CRT Recommendations

    Preferably 19" or bigger and not too fussed about price

    Yeah - IIyama or Sony, personally I'd choose the Trinitron tube from Sony over everything else (Although it is probably the most expensive), if you can't afford a Sony, try getting hold of a DELL monitor as there identicle, just rebadged

    been looking for Sony's (as my G400 died this morning), but I cant seem to find anybody who still sells their CRTs in the UK

    at the moment the Visionmaster Pro 455 is looking good, but if you guys can find something better please let me know

    I can honestly recomend the VM Pro 454. IMHO its worth the extra moolah over the VM Pro 455.

    I did a system for a friend and got her a Samsung SyncMaster 959NF 19" for £177 inc from Bechtle Direct. Really impressed with combination of price/performance. Large though.

    Mitsubishi Diamond Pro 930

    Fantastic monitor - use two of them at work. Same tube as the Iiyama, but much better electronics. So much sharper than the VMPro 454s - and I used to love Iiyamas (use two 450Pros at home).

    the LG f900p looks good. dont have one myself though, but looking at the specs it looks ok. IIRC scan sell them.

    Heh - I wonder where you got that from I have one also ... for the price they cannot be beaten although I've seen other 21"ers that can produce a better picture.
