Building my first PC - Pics inside
Hey Guys,
As most of you will know I've been plaguing these forums for the last few weeks asking lots of questions to help get everything ready for my first time building a computer. Well, now that everything is ready and my parts have been ordered I thought I would upload everything here so people can see how I got on :)
Enjoy!

My parts from scan have arrived :)

After unboxing the NZXT Phantom 410 and having a good play about with it I wasn't overly happy with the build quality of the front door so decided to return it for something a little simpler, all be it more expensive.

Stage 2,
So, now that all my parts are here its time to start the build :)
First off I got my tools together

Then I thought it best to grab some protection, just in case!!

During the build I forgot to take photos of things as I was going – If I ever hear the words “cable management” ever again in my life it will be too soon.... but after lots of blood, sweat, tears a trip to A&E for Sacred because I lost it and stuck a knife in him..... well ok, only joking although I was close! So almost 4 hours later my build was finally finished :D

Stage 3,
Well, thats it guys its all built & up and running so here are a few photos for you all to enjoy. Thank you to everyone who helped me with my questions over the last few weeks and you guys were right building my first own PC was way better then ordering that Alienware :).
Oh, and before I forget I do need to give the guys over at Scan some credit. They were fantastic and I will be using them again for all of my future builds and parts purchases :)

Very nice! Made a good choice swapping the case imo.
Re: Building my first PC - Pics inside
Very impressed :) great job on the wires makes the interior look clean and neat! Love the interior red lighting although I must admit it looks better in person than in your photos.
Now to fire up some games and put it to good use!

Nice work. So much better than Alienware, and more satisfying.

Thanks for that :) - Yeah I can't pick fault with the 650D its perfect, build quality and just everything about it feels better and more worth the money over the NZXT Phantom 410. I'm really glad I made the swap now.

I think I need to take some photos when its dark, the ones during the day don't seem to show it off as much. Well I've got Diablo III coming next week (although this won't push the system much), I've also been looking on Steam to see if they have any good deals on Crysis or the likes :)

Thanks :) - Its strange, I keep looking down at it and think to myself “I built that” totally worth the time and effort and spec wise it knocks the socks off the Alienware :D

What's the fan controller like? Just I read some people get a buzzing noise with some types of fans.

Seems fine to me, no funny noises from the controller or Fans at all. I've got 4 fans hooked up to it with a total of 9 fans inside (1x200mm Front, 1xPSU Fan, 2xGPU Fan, 4x120mm on my H100 and 1x120 Fan at the rear) and its almost silent even when running at 100%.

I also have bee putting together a similar system & can confirm that the fan controller is fine. It's really quiet on lowest setting, especially as the PSU's fan of off until it's put under a load.
Re: Building my first PC - Pics inside
This PC looks completely epic. Well done! I prefer it with the glow off though I must say
those in case shots are just brilliant..
