New PC Chair.... not really hardware but what ever

Does anyone know where I can get a decent PC chair these days? I've had a little look online but tbh I would rather sit in the chair and see how it feels. Anyone got any ideas?

I got my current chair from Viking Direct, so would recommend them, but you wouldn't be able to try before you buy.

Otherwise Staples are the only people I can think of that has them displayed - very much doubt Argos do. How about as an alternative buying from somewhere that offers a money back guarantee? No idea who would, but a different method of narrowing it down perhaps.

    +1 for Viking Direct.

I got a Niceday Berlin chair from them and it's been brilliant and had plenty of use

Viking Direct seem to offer a good selection, it's good to see they offer a good range of fabric chairs too because I'm not a big far of leather.

Ive also just found a website that sell Sports Car seats converted in to office chairs so I'm going to explore a little more down that route before I make my mind up because if they are anything like the seats in my Roadster then they would make one awesome PC Gaming chair!

I remember seeing something like that reviewed in CustomPC mag a few years ago, the reviewer liked them.

Love Viking Direct, got 2 chairs from them from their clearance section, paid less than £80 each for chairs priced at £200+ normailly, both are excellent.

Ryman usually have 2 or 3 in their high street stores on display to try out.

If you have a search on these boards there have been a couple of huge threads on the topic, so it may be worth having a look.

Re: New PC Chair.... not really hardware but what ever

My chair's also from Viking Direct, not top quality but at £35, or thereabouts, it's brilliant VFM as it has a gas lift, arm rests and a high back. Bought it at the end of Jan '11 and there's not been a single problem with it apart from a tiny bit of fabric opening up on the corners of the arm rests. I reckon it'll manage to keep it's current state for another 5 years too.

Makros usually have a couple on display at quite a cheap price, however you need a membership or something to enter.
