Any one used Squaretrade for warrantys ?

I notice a lot of the refurbished laptops being sold offer Squaretrade and that it is available here in the uk too , has any one used it ?

How would it compare to in-house warrantys like Dells ?

I also noticed them on Ebay as well. I would recommend reading the small print, but the reviews on Amazon on them aren't fantastic

You could also consider the money spent on Warranties you could save up to repair or get a new product when it breaks. Of course there won't be a guarentee it won't last for ages, but then there won't be a guarentee your warranty will cover it either.

It's like Travel insurance sometimes, pointless and has so many exclusions it's not worth the paper it's printed.
