    Interesting.. amongst some of the many rumours regarding the Apple HDTV set was talk of modular processors etc.

    I was reminded of the Sega Megadrive and its 'upgrades' after reading that, strangely.

    Maybe for a 128-bit CPU upgrade there will be a unit which extrudes from the module slot and also an add-on kit for the next generation of optical media, each requiring their own power brick of course.
