I just bided on a new tv tuner! Did I screw up?

Ok, So I was surfing ebay and I found a Hauppauge Digital TV Receiver PCI Card But I voted twice the curent vote! And now I am having second thoughts!! It looks kinda old.. (The copyright on the pic says 1999!) Is this thing going to be better then my AIW?

    http://www.hauppauge.com/pages/products/data_d.html

PLEASE SAY YES!!! Thanks for your help!

EDIT: OMG!!! The site of the manufacture doesnt even sell it no more!! It was replaced!!!

    How much did it cost?

If it works well, yes it will be BETTER, digital is great - esp if your recording, as it wont need to encode before putting it to disk.

WEll if you dont like it, you can always give it to me I have two tv cards here if you want to trade:

One can only record in good quality in uncompressed avi - only good for NTFS drives with lots of space. reception can be lacking with some channels.

other only has drivers for win98 records in avi only.

$30.. thats like.. £20! over here in UK youd be lucky to get one for less than £40 new from a shop, infact im not sure if Ive seen them less than £60.

bus mastering is just a feature of PCI interface, its not important. Iirc it means it can be greedy with pci bandwidth but you should have the option in bios to turn it off if you wanted.
