    3 Pin Connectors

    Right guys i ahve an ASUS A7V333 and am looking to buy some 3 pin fans but dont know if my motherbaord has 3 pin connectors and dont know where they are if it has em lol. Can anyone help? Cheers

    Just grabbed the manual off asus website, looks like you have 3 of the connectors, page twenty in the pdf manual.

    From a quick squint at the manual on the ASUS site:

    Asus A7V333 Manual

    it looks as though you have 2 fan connections. 1 directly in front of the CPU fan connector, so should be easy to spot, and 1 by the front panel connectors in the corner. Both are 3 pin types.

    Just looked at it again, the 3rd one is marked up as PWR_FAN (next to the CPU one), but this might only be a sensor no power, not sure as it shows all 3 pins in the pic.

    If there aren't enough connectors on the board you could always get some cables that will allow you to connect a 3pin fan to a standard molex connector

    Could anyone do me a big favour and get a picture of this motherboard and highlight were these conectors are if have some which i think are the 3 pin conectors but not sure.
