    Barton with 2700

Barton (333) and PC2700, running at stock, would be synchronous would it not? So would there be any advantage at all to using PC3200 if no overclocking is going to be done?

Nope no point, although I urge you to overclock

Only possible advantage would be if you could get tighter timings by running the PC3200 at 333fsb.

    which makes f/a difference

you might as well get pc3200 tho if its not a lot more, for when you upgrade in the future, and your more likely to sell it in the future, but as for performance will be the same
