    Motherboard musings

I'm currently considering my next upgrade (payday is Thursday - woo!) and I've decided to go with a AMD A64 3500+ chip.

So I have two choices at the moment when it comes to chipsets it seems - VIA K8T800Pro or nVidia nForce3 Ultra.

From my research it would appear that most boarda available at the moment are based on the VIA chipset. The only nVidia board I've seen is the MSI K8N Neo2 Platinum, which seems pretty decently specced but I've never really had much experience with MSI in the past.

So what would you guys recommend? Which chipset and which specific boards?

    Thanks.

EDIT: The rest of my system will be a AOpen 6800GT, 2x512MB TwinMOS PC3200 RAM, 80GB IDE Seagate Barracuda V, plus what's generally in my sig, if it's of any consideration.
