Looking for a good WiFi Keyboard and Mouse Combo with long range, Help please : D
Hi All
I have setup a media PC in my living room and found that my old Logitech mx3000 mouse and keyboard set only have a rang of 2m
Was looking at getting a new set but not sure what to go for as so many types now? Blue tooth, 2.4Ghz, RF?
Questions
- What is the best type of wireless connection?
- Don't want to spend alot £40 max cheaper the better.
- Must have a good range of more that 5m
Best one i have found myself is the Logitech Wireless Combo MK260 http://www.logitech.com/en-gb/keyboa...ce-combos/7313
Only problem i found is that its lacking side buttons on mouse which i would like for forward and back for surfing Web, but cant really mown at that price.
Cheers for your time.

This might be a bit tight. If you want a really decent range then Bluetooth is your best bet, otherwise a high end set (something Logitech that uses the unifying
receiver would be top of my list. Curve ball: have you thought about something like the K400).
Alternative solution: a long usb extension (or a couple chained)? If you can tuck something out the way closer to the sofa then this might solve your problem. If the range is too long then you could add a powered usb hub at the end. I've had a webcam running on a couple of extension before without issue.

Went for the Microsoft Wireless Desktop 800 and so far happy with it as has a great range and was only £20.
Even tested it on BF2 and works well with no lag : D
