Few bits of advice, first you definitely want to upgrade the bios.

    http://www.shuttle.com/hq/support/do...p?model=SN41G2

And i'd advise downloading the latest Chipset drivers and the onboard Graphics drivers for the board from the link above.

When building it, i found that i could maintain better temperatures without the CPU Shim on the processor. So i've removed it all together and its been 100% fine for the 8months i've had mine now.

Depending on your own personal tastes the PSU fan and maybe the rear grill on the larger 80mm fan may want to be dremelled an replaced to reduce noise. Personally this don't bother me as this is my lan gaming rig.

Upgrade the bios now by sticking a floppy disk in it, and maybe then just remove it, i like my shuttle without the floppy disk in. Plus eventually i must get round to stealthing my cd rom drive...

    Any Trig's a bit p***ed off gen?

I order it online, its in stock
I ring them, its in stock
I dont have an order dispatch notice the net day
I email them and get this in reply
"Your order is currently waiting for the SN41G2B to come back in to stock which will hopefully be early next week"

Well hopefully I'll get laid this weekend but hey.......

You might want to checkout tekheads...

I wanted the SN41G2B but they didn't have stock until 2 days after I settled for the silver one My point is they may have it in now. I know the Black version is very difficult to get hold of, Gemma told me, a couple of weeks back, that they didn't think they'd be getting anymore as they were limited edition. Another reason I settled for silver

Build it slowly and try not to cut yourself

Gemma and the outlawed place are usually pretty good if your desperate. As for getting laid this weekend, thats exactly my plan, but I already have my SN41G2 jobba.

I ordered my SK41 from OCUK all that time ago, they were pretty good with everything. Stock systems do go wrong however, order from Ebuyer to find out just how often ).

Its a bootiful machine (SN41G2), the nforce chipset seems to be tailor made for this application. I don't know how I'd manage without my shuttles now (which are in the Gallery :d ).

Ummm the black one is probably the cheapest and postage is only £3 and no one will give better service. Check the threads on KustomPCs for more info.

    the SN41G2B (Black) is on 2 - 3 days...

I would seriously recommend Tekheads, I got mine SN41G2 and a few other bits from them and the service was excellent.
