can i ask why, is it because there {edited} or that its the dog's [edited] and u don't need another one?and I would never buy another one again
also whats the noise like with one of them?
59dba = VERY LOUD
Somehow I don't think this is something I'd consider for my rigs... Air flow is nice, but not with this kind of drawback...

ouch.. 59db's is hellla loud.... but 190cfm thats SERIOUS Airflow!!!
used to have the 60mm 6800rpm version.. and that was rated at 46.5db (only 38cfm) and that was loud enough to reverberate through the house!!!!
Anyone know what sort of effect reducing the voltage to these has on db? Just out of interest..
obviously quieter , ...but making it silent...bah, u might as well buy a enermax...
It's because they are STUPIDLY loud.Originally posted by wilsonian

quite good, im running an 80mm at 7vs at the mo, and its not too bad, but by no means quiet. Just do not ever, ever run one from your motherboard! Get an adapter to run it off a molex

they're 13times louder than a silent (20db) YStech.
i've got the 80mm EHE, and thats pretty insane.. 49db ish..
-roughly each extra 3db, is double.. so 24db is twice as loud as 21db.
i had an old 120mm sunon, was about an inch and a half thick and u could feel the vibrations thru the floor downstairs so my dad made me turn it off
