    thinking of sticking a xp-m 2400 on a asus A7V8X

I have decided my pc needs a little more umpf with doom3 round the corner and a 6800U about to be stuck on it so i was going to stick a xp-m 2400 on my old A7V8X mobo and OC it (as i have been to the mobile 2400 is the best for this). IS this possible on this mobo and how easy is it? I was initially going to go for a whole new rig with a 64 on it but have decided against that until socket 939 chips start to drop in price, i figure this will do me good for a year or so.

It won't work. A KT400 chipset like that board has will need you to pinmod it to make the CPU run at speeds you want it at.
You'll have to buy an nForce2 board for it to natively support it.
