    Cheap ATX case

I'm thinking of donating my old i7920 to my stepson. But we need a cheap case with adequate ventilation
    What would you recommend ?
    Society's to blame,
    Or possibly Atari.

It comes with a single 120MM fan.

This comes with two 120MM fans:

    http://www.scan.co.uk/products/antec...usb-30-w-o-psu

It can take upto a 10.5" long graphics card.

This comes with a single 120MM fan and a single 140MM fan:

    http://www.scan.co.uk/products/antec...g-case-w-o-psu

It can take upto 12" long graphics cards.

This comes with two 120MM fans and a single 140MM fan:

    http://www.scan.co.uk/products/corsa...usb-30-w-o-psu

It can take graphics cards upto 17.7" in length.

There are also the Zalman cases which I like.

The Z9 has three 120MM fans:

    http://www.scan.co.uk/products/zalma...e-case-w-o-psu

It can take upto an 11.4" graphics card.

The Zalman Z11 Plus has three 120MM fans and two 80MM fans:

    http://www.scan.co.uk/products/zalma...r-case-w-o-psu

It can take upto an 11.4" graphics card.

    What is your maximum budget?

I would probably show your son the cases on this webpage:

    http://www.scan.co.uk/shop/computer-...formance-cases

He could see what cases he likes the look of most.

    Re: Cheap ATX case

I'm going to jump in before Pob to recommend Casecom! Ebuyer have a range of Casecom K-series cases starting at £20, with bottom mounted PSUs and plenty of fan mounts. Check out http://www.ebuyer.com/search?page=1&...ltersubcat=418 - ignore the generic C-series cases, have a look at the K-series ones: both Pob and I have used these in builds and have been pleasantly surprised by just how much case you get for your money

    damn you scaryjim

the C series is cheap flimsy junk, K series is decent, K5 is slightly better than the KM it's just a slight tweak to the design that fixed a couple of minor issues in the KM

I'll be selling my old KM-6788 shortly, I'll do it for you with fans if you like

    Forgot about the K series!

Might have saved me a lot of posts!!

The Casecom K5-9388 appears to have a removable hard drive cage, which means long cards should also fit fine.

Well, yes, if I tried to put a hat on my cat it would fall off, then the cat would savage it. That's what cats do

And now I need to tell myself off for going off topic
