Would this be a worthwhile upgrade from my SLK-800 ?

I was looking at this, in the same position as you. Personally I cant see there being much of a heat difference at all. The only positive thing I can see is that you could use a 92mm fan to either cool more with similer/slightly more noise, or cool the same amount/slightly less with less noise.

Cant see it being worth the £25 they cost. I would rather put that towards a new case with 120mm fans on.

iMc is right, check frequently with dabs, they sometimes have some second hands one, i jsut got a thermaltake vm1000a, for 40.50, jsut over 50 squid in total, which is weeeeeeeeell cheap, indeed the price rise isnt porportional to the features you will get for it, save it for sumthin else, like iMc says

Tend to agree Apex m8, have a look at the Dan's Data review of the U variants side by side - not enough in it to make it a worthwhile venture IMO.

As iMc & mr_anderson said, save it for a rainy day
