    Better Cooling

Im currently workin in a hot room on my pc and im looking for something to keep it all a bit cooler

The ambient temp in my case when fully laden is around 40 but the cpu is up over 65

    Really im looking for a decent CPU cooler for a P4 2.8 c (800fsb) OC'ed to 3.02
At the mo i have the standard cooler on it

    Any help will be appreciated

    Cheers

    Fraggie

    How hot is the room?

    Anywhere near 40°C?

If you get your case temp down to a few °C above the room temp then your CPU temp will drop accordingly.

Say the room temp is 20~25°C. If you add more case cooling then you should be getting case temps of around 25°C. So instead of the CPU being at 65°C, it will be at 50°C.

I would look at reducing the temp of the air inside your case. I have roughly 20°C of difference between my CPU temp and case temp. So if I had a case temp of 40°C then I'd have a CPU temp of over 60°C too. But case temps are always just above room temp (~1°C) so CPU temp can be ~43°C.

Check out one of the larger Thermalrights for a good heatsinks, but getting the case temp down would help, any case fans in there?

And there are 2 of your fans being used as exausts at the back. The rest of the fans as intakes at the front and side?

And yep - The Thermalright SP94 is a top heatsink. (I have the SP97 which is the AMD version)

I just checked the link for the case and saw the specs of the included fans:

    - RPM 2000
    - CFM 17.3
    - dB(A) 25

17cfm isn't alot, especially for 25dba, you might consider upgrading the case fans
