Hello folks! ... rather than jump into another thread , I though I'd start a new one!
I've been a long time lurker , in fact I bought my current Casecom KM-6788 as recommended by the good Pob255 a couple of years ago!
Anyhow , since then I've bought a 2nd hand Asus Redeon HD 6950 DirectCU II which is too big to fit in it sadly!
My choices are then to hack out some metal from the 6788 till it fits , or buy a new case , which brings to the Casecom K5 (or is it M .. ?)-9388??
They are going for only £28 over at Ebuyer and look just the job ... I think I'd prefer to buy this if poss rather than mess around with the 6788 ..
As I understand it there is a removable tray in the 9388 especially for getting these longer cards in , the grey area though is the width of the 6950 DirectCU II .. it takes up 3 slots!
Does anyone have one of these cases and can have a quick check please?
The card is 11.7 inches long and 3 slots wide .. can't post a link sadly (new member)
Thanks for any help folks!!
btw .. I've posted a similar question over at the ebuyer forums.
