Casecom K5(M)-9388 .. suitable for long and wide graphic cards??

Hello folks! ... rather than jump into another thread , I though I'd start a new one!

I've been a long time lurker , in fact I bought my current Casecom KM-6788 as recommended by the good Pob255 a couple of years ago!

Anyhow , since then I've bought a 2nd hand Asus Redeon HD 6950 DirectCU II which is too big to fit in it sadly!
My choices are then to hack out some metal from the 6788 till it fits , or buy a new case , which brings to the Casecom K5 (or is it M .. ?)-9388??
They are going for only £28 over at Ebuyer and look just the job ... I think I'd prefer to buy this if poss rather than mess around with the 6788 ..
As I understand it there is a removable tray in the 9388 especially for getting these longer cards in , the grey area though is the width of the 6950 DirectCU II .. it takes up 3 slots!

Does anyone have one of these cases and can have a quick check please?

The card is 11.7 inches long and 3 slots wide .. can't post a link sadly (new member)

    Thanks for any help folks!!

btw .. I've posted a similar question over at the ebuyer forums.

Yes and no, there is a removable drive cage that would allow for longer cards, however it's too low down to be used on the first pci-e x16 slot, you might be able to get away with the bottom slots on a motherboard, it'll depend on the motherboard you have.

Thanks Pob .. Hmm , it looks a bit tight doesn't it!
Motherboards an Asus M5A97 Pro btw.
Someone over on the ebuyer forums has recommended the Coolermaster Elite 430 which looks pretty good .. an extra tenner over the 9388, but looks really nice!
It might just go with that one ... ebuyer seem to guarantee free delivery for Monday which is a plus!!

In the end - it's a personal taste thing. Watch out for how many fans you get with the box and their quality. You may end up buying another fan...

Re: Casecom K5(M)-9388 .. suitable for long and wide graphic cards??

Hello again folks .. just reporting back with some photos of the Coolermaster Elite 430 with all the bits in!
The graphics card is not as big as I thought actually .. fits in easily to be honest , and I've also fitted another input fan at the top front of the case!
The cables could do with a tidy up sometime , but it's not too shabby I think.

apologies for the fuzzy old phone photos , and thanks again for all the help!!!
