    Ram Recomendations?

    HI YA NEW TO MODDING ETC

    JUST WONDERED ABOUT MY RAM

    GOT A 3.0GHZ P4 WITH 6800 ULTRA AND 1024MB STANDARD DDR?? PC3200
    RAM.

    JUST WONDER IF MORE RAM WILL HELP MY SYSTEM? THE MAINBOARD I HAVE IS AN ASUS P4P-800.

    REST OF SPEC IS........
    480PSU
    120 GB HDRIVE
    DVDROM/DRW
    CD RW/ AND CDROM/DVD

    THINK THATS IT.

    SO ANY RAM RECOMMENDATIONS

    1gig of RAM is plenty, if you want to overclock the RAM might go higher, if not you can always use 5:4 dividers, so you shouldn't really need any more RAM imo.

    As Skattrd said, 1 gig or RAM is plenty if you are just into games and general PC use. The only reason I can see that you might need to replace that RAM is if you wanted to overclock in the future, if it's cheap, generic RAM in might not OC that well.
