New build - recommendations please!

So my trusty Q6600 rig is getting a bit long in the tooth now and it's time to retire her:

Case
Antec P182 - Replace with Fractal Design R4? I've loved my P182, very high quality, but how does the R4 compare in terms of build and noise level?

CPU
Going for the i5 3570k which I intend to overclock to 4.4/4.5Ghz, should be a nice upgrade from my Q6600 clocked at 3.3Ghz

Motherboard
Currently running an Asus P5K-E, looking at the Gigabyte GA-Z77-D3H but I'm open to other suggestions on this.

CPU Cooler
Currently have a Xigmatek HDT-S1283, I'm looking at the Noctua NH-D14 or the Be Quiet Black Rock 2. The Noctua seems to get the better performance, and a common mumbling youtube reviewer seems to suggest it's just as quiet. I'm not for windowed PC cases so it's looks don't bother me, but I'd be interested to hear opinions on these two.

HDD
Currently running a 80Gb Intel Gen1 X18-M (1.8") + 750Gb Samsung Spinpoint, plan on keeping the 750Gb and introducing a Samsung 830 256Gb (already bought), turning the 80Gb Intel into an ultra fast portable storage device with a 1.8" USB powered caddy, maybe with a mobile O/S if possible!

GPU
Going to stick with my GTX570 for the time being, maybe upgrade next gen.

RAM
8Gb DDR3 should be fine, always had a preference for Corsair, so will likely get some low profile variety of theirs. Currently looking at Corsair Vengence Jet Black Low Profile PC312800. Is their any need to go for a faster speed if overclocking in new set-ups?

Additional Fans
I'll want to add top fans to the R4 if purchased, so I'm looking at Fractal Design's 2 no. 140mm 800RPM with rubber mounts. Can anyone suggest a better alternative, rubber mounting preferred.

case fans, I'd go with the 1000rpm versions http://www.scan.co.uk/products/140mm...nt-series-rev2, you've got a built in fan controller in the R4 so having a higher base speed gives you that bit more flexibility for cooling.

R4 vs the p182 hard call, with the possible fan option it has the edge on cooling, sound wise they are probably very similar, although the fan controller gives the R4 a fine control edge.

Motherboard, I do question the robustness of the VRM on the cheaper boards for long term overclocking.

I would vouch for the Fractal Design Define R4, I have an R3 myself and I love it, and according to most people, the R4 is just an R3 with some extra added features. I also have a Gigabyte Z77 UD5, and it would be better to go for a UD5/UD3 for long term overclocking due to the VRM, the price difference is not that great either if you opt for the UD3.

Also, the Noctua absolutely destroys the Dark Rock in terms of cooling and silence, although if you wanted something cheaper, you could go for the NZXT Havik 140, its 90% of the performance, but in a smaller form factor and its cheaper in cost. The only downside is that its noisy, and since you seem to be aiming for silence, I would recommend the D14, but you would need low profile RAM, which you seem to have.

I have the R3 mate, i cant hear my pc at all, i have not attached the power light on the front (its in my bedroom), and theres no vibration off the case, its impossible to tell if its on if the monitor is turned off (ok, the G15 keyboard is lit up....). The R4 looked very similar, but with removable HDD cages, whether this gives more scope for noise or not I cant say, reviews look favourable tho.

Given I'm not needing a PSU / GPU / HDD to factor into the cost now, it's coming out cheaper than I was expecting, so upgrading the motherboard might be acceptable. I might just keep my current case saving me a bit more cash (laziness and not wanting to rip it apart is my main reason for simply buying new!)

I was thinking maybe £160 for the lot if sold as a bundle, does that sound about right?

Just a little hyjack here, I am looking at an almost identical build, although buying a new gtx570 too, I was wondering what kind of PSU I could get away with here, modular is a must but being on a budget I was after some advide in relation to what kind of power this rig would eat up.

Look at the PSU I have, I have a 650w OCZ ZT series, its been working well so far, its fully modular as well, if you dont mind something that is semi modular, go with a XFX Pro 650w. Both are relatively cheap at around £70.

Both should be more than adequate to power a GTX 570 and whatever you have with it.

I'm looking at doing a similar build, i'm looking at which fan to put in.
I'm just wondering whether the Noctua actually makes much difference with the 3570K as i've heard mixed comments about the poor heat transfer from CPU to heatsink with ivybridge?
