    Hdd Probs Nforce2 & VIA

i recently did a fresh install of Xp on my spare machine (Via chip set mobo)and installed all drivers installed games and got it running sweet.
Now my hard drive thats in my main rig(Nforce2 chip set mobo) has come under blast worm virus and running sloppy, and many other probs.
now i wanted to put my Hdd from my VIA rig in my Nforce 2 main rig..
but im getting blue screen when it starts up..
which i was told because its come from a machine that
installed a difrent mobo chip set
dose anyone know how to remove all the via drivers and everything i need to so i can use this Hdd in my Nfoce2 rig.
    without getting a blue screen

i would rather not format this hdd as its running realy well.

    thanx

reinstall xp over the top, or goto safemode and remove the mobo drivers and add the new ones

or use the windows XP repair installation, its just one of the options when you go as if you were going to run a fresh installation. I had to use it when I moved my Windows disk from my old Via chip board to my new Nforce2 board. GL!
