the last good creative product i owned was a 3d blaster voodoo2. the soundblaster pci128 was abominable (a rebadged ensoniq soundscape, and lord knows ensoniq were retards), and their speakers just plain suck.

give me a nice not-creatiev produt any day of the week

Pcworld and dixons (the same group I know...) dont have the rio karma on there sites.. but they have the rio nitrus
Would they have it in store?
Anywhere else that sell them and have local-ish shops?

Why, of course not! ...

Fine! Ok so I own one! I found it to be better then my old Ipod, and the battery life is killer! I'm surprised no one else seems to be recomending it. After all it is preferd over the Rio.... And It suports more file types! Also it has a KILLER remote! The Fm is great to, and it also looks much better. The line in direct MP3 encoder is nice as well, I love hooking it up to a friends CD player and grabbing his music* Not to mention its cheap! Well compared to the Ipod......



*Music of wich I already own! I am in no way confesing to copying CD's illegaly!

That works out at £180 with no waranty though... If it arrives DOA then im fooked, basicly...

Im happy to pay a little bit extra for a nice long UK warrnety...

Hey all. my mum is going to florida in 2 weeks and she said she will get my a hard drive player.ipod karma etc etc. but now i need to pick one and tell her it so she can get it. i seen the rio carbon and it looked really nice only 5gb though.... so could u giuys give me links and ideas on to which ones u thinka re the best and tell me why. i will be lookign ymself as well but the etxra help would help make me make a gd decision.
