Ah, nah wasn't new, from avforums.

Less than a year old though.
Any ideas on board? Due to me spending more on the cpu than planned, I think I may have to keep my current soundcard for a while (since I haven't had any interest in it) for the moment.
Or would you say just go for the asus board you linked, try harder to sell the soundcard

    What about this?

    Or could go for http://www.scan.co.uk/products/msi-h...vi-d-micro-atx

Then get the external sound stuff (already picked up an E7, now looking to buy an E9 to dock it with)

The Asus is an ITX motherboard which would go with something like the following case:

Already got a lian li v351, got it for a good price, and also because the Prodigy can't fit enough HDDs with a long gpu

So looking at either a mitx or matx, don't mind really.
That MSI is getting more attractive, with me just getting the E9 and worrying about selling the soundcard afterwards.

Might be a bit OTT but looks quite decent:

Re: BUYING IN 15 MINUTES: Good matx board for e3-1240 (and was that a good buy?)

Due to me presumably getting it wrong, looks like I won't be able to get it till Friday in any case, so no rush in the order (I thought it was next day, so if I ordered by half past it would come tomorrow?)

Yeah, a couple of the ASUS boards looked good, but since I wasn't going to use the IGP (doesn't have one), and can't increase the multi in any case, I was unsure of any benefits? (not really up to date with the current chipsets)

I like the better range of backplate connectors on the more expensive motherboard, although YMMV.

    Edit!!

This MSI probably would do the job IMHO:
