aghhhh what is going on with my 3Dmark03 scores?

right i have slapped all my new lovely shiny bits in and run 3Dmark03 to see how she performs and its worse than a lame donkey with lisa riley on its back! I only got 6389 3d marks and get this 234 CPU marks, bearing in mind this is running a 6800GT OC'ed to 400/1000 with a Athlon 64 3000+ and a gig of RAM (not OC'ed yet) what the hell is going on!

What shiny bits have you put in ? , have you changed graphics card (ATI - nvidia) ?
My system scores 12000 3D marks , (see sig) and is almost identical to yours.
Set your graphics card back to default speed and try again.

Is it a clean install ? , you have got to suspect its a driver issue.
Have you checked your CPU/memory speed with CPUZ.

    It's definately low

My A64 2800, KV8pro, Crucial Ballistix and Leadtek 6800 GT scores 10000 at stock speeds and just under 12000 with tight memory timings (2-2-2-5 DDR 400) and 420/1150 on the graphics card.

It'd be intesting to see what memory speeds and timing you're running, it's not running somethng silly like DDR200 is it. Make sure Cool and quiet is off too.

how do you turn cool and quiet off then? as it was sugested that this was the problem. My RAM timings are crap at the mo 3-3-3-8 DDR400 but havent had a chance to OC them and the CPU yet

Make sure u set the slider to performance rather than quality in the nvidia control panel, and also turn off V-Sync if enabled.
