what's cpu thrm throttling and what should i set it at

I have been trouble with my rig not running as fast as it should and looking for clues in the bios i saw cpu thrm throttling at 50%, as far as i understand this throttles back the CPU when it starts to get hot but at what temperature does it do this and should i turn it down up or off?

Well you want to set the time as just longer than it takes to boot into windows. I would just leave it as 50%, if it is turning on then you have a temperature problem which i would sort out sooner than later.
