    Most likely because IPS panels aren't considered good for gaming.

    Well people bang on about response time when there's IPS monitors with 2ms? It's not a valid point anymore and there's plenty of people who use IPS panels for gaming..LG if you're on a budget or a more expensive Dell one which would be worth the money

    Oh don't get me wrong, I recently switched to IPS panels, and while the colours aren't as WOW as I was led to believe, gaming on them is fine

    Currently using a Dell U2421M for gaming and not had any issues personally, play BF3, CS, Diablo 3 etc etc.
