I have a fair few old laptops whos motherboards have given up the goast. I would like to take them apart and sell the parts but as the motherboard is no longer working its impossible to test the screen, battery etc I dont expect there is any way to test them is there? I guess my only option is to sell as untested. Any ideas on how to test them would be much appreciated.

Aslo, a couple of them are missing the HDD caddy which has a converter on it to convert the sata to the laptop connection, im guessing this is spacific to the laptop? or are these converters standadised? in which case is there a universal converter I could buy?

Thanks
