    Best desktop speakers - £100 - £150?

    Hi everyone,

Been ages since I've been on here! Had a query for you:

Thinking of getting rid of my Logitech Z-2300s and replacing them with something a bit smaller/better looking but which still sounds excellent. Have a budget of £100-150. My flatmate has Acoustic Energy Aego Ms which are very nice, but aren't they getting a bit long in the tooth now?

Any advice would be much appreciated.

    Tim

As long as the speakers sound nice, the age of the design is not important IMHO.

The Samson StudioDock series or the speakers from Audioengine are worth considering. They are basically small stand-mount active two way stereo speakers.
