    Mouse/Keyboard advice/suggestions

I'm considering a new mouse and keyboard setup.

I currently use a Microsoft wireless keyboard 700 and an old Microsoft intellimouse explorer 2.0

Thes are both "fine" but it's time for an update, I've had a look around and not much seems to meet my needs.

I do know that people on here will pull up either something obvious I've missed/not thought of, or some obscure product that meets my needs perfect.

    Here are the needs.

1.) has to be wireless - I know I should use wired if I game, but I need to swap keyboards for different machine and wireless is the best option.

2.) I'd like it to be a regular shape/style keyboard, nothing mental shaped, I don't mind a bit of variation but not the ones cut in two or anything like that

3.) the keyboard must have a number pad built in, not an external thing

4.) the mouse, I do game a bit so I'd like it to have a good use for gaming, and a few buttons on the side/scroll wheel

a bonus requirement would be if the mouse/keyboard either game from the same vendor or was compatible with the same wireless reciever, I'd like to just have 1 input for the keyboard mouse.

The best I found that met my needs was a Microsoft 3000 keyboard and a Microsoft 5000 mouse (or maybe 6000 but it got a slating for use in games).
    It is Inevitable.....

Not sure what your budget is but I have just purchased the Cherry Orca Wirless Keyboard and Mouse from Scan:

Hasnt arrived yet, but have read some great things about Cherry as a brand, and a few good reviews about this set in particular.
