    Isn't 6GB enough?? The CPU is a dual core with HT BTW.

    well its 300 quid at currys and pcw atm with free win 8 upgrade but is win 8 any good for a laptop?

    also how many cpus can win 8 use?

    Whether you want Windows 8 can only be answered by you. The problem is that you seem to get a very negative or very positive response to it.

    I would download the Windows 8 RTM and run it in a VM on your desktop. If you don't like the lack of Start Menu,you can install Start8.

    Like the consumer versions of Windows 7,the consumer versions of Windows 8 support a single CPU.
