    setting up a raid 0 array under windows xp?

    hi

    i have 2 raptors under a SI3112 controller. I've set up a stripe in the bios, which appears to be working correctly. But when installing windows xp, the 2 drives appear seperately, i.e. 35gb*2 as oopsed to 70gb.

    Any ideas why? Installed the SI drivers from floppy... :|

    cheers

    (edit: doh - thats what you get for using the wrong drivers...)

    LOL dgr, nice one.

    Also, the fact that the "wrong" drivers can see both drives pretty much proves that the 3112 chip is software RAID (which it is.)
    PHP Code:
    $s = new signature();
    $s->sarcasm()->intellect()->font('Courier New')->display();
