Howdy
Well I have the video to line in cable plugged in on this and all my line ins are on full and unmuted in the sound control panel in windows. However I cannot get any sound outta it at all. I f I set it to TV on demand I get a very faint sound, so faint I can only hear bits.
Ive run the initialisation wizard and selected all possible audio types but to no avail.
spec is:
Shuttle SN45G
XP2500
512Mb Pc3200
Any ideas guys?
sorry for my ignorance but do you have onboard sound as well.Sometimes my pc defaults back on to onboard instead of my audigy.I just have to go in to the sound and audio devices options control panel and switch back to soundblaster on the audio/sound play back option.

that bizaare then because it looks like the setup for it to work is fine its just the fact it isnt working thats vexxing me :(
Hi Flash, I also had a problem like this for a long time when trying to get the sound working from the TV tuner of a 9800SE AIW in my shuttle. I too was trying to use the external cable, going into the special "DB-9" socket I think they call it, with the little audio cable going into your line-in socket of your soundcard.
This didn't provide me with any sound no matter what I did either. Finally the solution, I discovered, was to use another audio cable within the cards box, to connect the audio header on the top centre (slightly to the left though if i remember correctly) to the CD audio header within the shuttle.
Then run the wizard again and make sure it unmutes the CD audio :) Be warned however, this seems to increase the noise on the onboard sound (if you get any) by adding extra EMI. I found muting it when not in use was a good idea, although the ATi software seems to automatically unmute it sometimes.
