    Raptor vs Raptor (Ebuyer)

Could someone tell me what is the difference between this drive:
    http://www.ebuyer.com/customer/produ...duct_uid=55241
    and this drive:
    http://www.ebuyer.com/customer/produ...duct_uid=55454

Two of my HD died on me in the last seven days. I guess its the last time I am running my PC through a storm (not sure if its the cause though, the rest of my PC seems fine - but the bios no longer even detects one of the HD)...

Ironically, the two drives that died on me are both "modern" IDE drives.. And the only HD I've got running is the SCSI drive that came with my first desktop. Guess thats why they cost so much...

Oh yea, do the Raptor come with a regular molex connector? Or would I need to buy one?

Okay, thanks. Still seems kinda odd..

Umm, this might be in the wrong forum, but then, I don't think there is a point in creating a whole new thread for it... So... Has anyone seen a better price for the 74GB Raptor (131.71 inc. P&H + VAT - shipped for Tuesday with their priority service). I wouldn't mind paying a lil more from somewhere else to get it on Monday, and I might also be interested in a HD cooler if the place provide a decent one..

haven't shopped around but fo you have a barclay card...

as then you can 'shop' around in 60 days time and if you find it cheaper barclays will give you the difference....

well i did all of it online and got sent the credit card a few days later.. and am able to pay it off by switch all online so never need to go to a barclay's bank ever..

best to read the terms and conditions first though, i've only used it once on a harddrive but it worked perfectly fine...
