    Question Best Printers?

Does anyone have any recommendations for a printer that can print decent print outs. Has wifi and scanning ability and cost of ink fairly cheap, looking to spend something like £120 for the pirnt, and spend no more than say £30 pounds on ink cartridges.

    Re: Best Printers?

I just stick to Canon nowadays. Never been dissapointed with the print quality from a Canon but have been from other brands. Not sure if it is just luck on the Canon models I bought though. On the minus I would say the Canon models tend to be pretty heavy and expensive on ink.

If you print 100s of pages every week one of the HP Officejet Pro 8600s might be a good investment...

HP Officejet Pro 8600 Plus e-All-in-One (print, scan, copy, fax) - £189.99 delivered
    - colour printer, scanner, copier and fax
    - low running costs due to it's separate XL ink cartridges
    - duplexer unit (can print and scan both sides of a page automatically)
    - 50 page automatic document feeder for effortless scanning/copying/faxing
    - digital sender function (digitise documents to network storage without the use of a computer)
    - networked memory card reader (plug memory card into the printer and it will show up on your computer)
    - fully networked (wired & wireless) so everyone can print & scan
    - incoming fax mails can be forwarded to your email address
    - works with Windows and Apple Mac computers

There is also a non-plus model (no duplex or legal size scanning/lesser touch screen/smaller capacity ADF) for £134.44 delivered, then register for £30 cashback and the same 3 year on-site warranty. It also uses the same high capacity individual cartridges.

3 years FREE on-site replacement service registration (must register within 30days or purchase)

£50/£30 cash back registration (must apply within 30day days of purchase)

The printer does come with a set of standard size cartridges (not XL!) in the box, so you may want to order a spare set of XL ones right away...

full set of 4 x genuine HP XL cartridges plus some photo paper (cheaper than buying cartridges individually) £71.90 delivered

    or

    genuine XL black cartridge (yield = 2300pages @ 5%)
    genuine XL cyan cartridge (yield = 1500pages @ 5%)
    genuine XL magenta cartridge (yield = 1500pages @ 5%)
    genuine XL yellow cartridge (yield = 1500pages @ 5%)

As above - Canon for the low volume bubblejet scanner wifi, Hp above that.
I have the 5250 and can recommend it. You may need a newer model if you want Airprint from your fruity slab if you have one.

    Re: Best Printers?

The price of ink varies massively depending on which model you buy, certainly with HP. I have an HP Pro 8000, and the ink is about £60 for a full set, which will last a phenomenal length of time.

Take an HP printer off the high street, and you'll pay £20-30 for a black and the same again for a colour, and it will barely last a few weeks.

    Re: Best Printers?

Just in case if you have not got a printer, Canon MG 5350 could be a best bet.
    - Wi fi
    - Cloud print
    - Good for photograph
    - Ink not over than £30.00 ( refill )
