Seen this http://www.ebuyer.com/customer/produ...duct_uid=55650 on ebuyer and thinking that cheiftec cases are supposed to be fairly good thought it was a bit of a bargain. What do you think, anygood for the price or a pile of junk?

Try asking in the case section next time ;)
Bargin, i remember when these cases were 90+ quid. Go get one, you won't be dissapointed.
I just bought the chieftec bx-01 and it's a great case, really nice to work in and a steal at £30, went to my local pc shop and they had the same case for £70.
Hi joely - I have a silver Matrix, so i can speak from experiance..they're good cases. Be aware the this is a FULL TOWER case, just read the reviews - it has 6 outer 5's, 2 outer 3's and 6 inner 3's . It comes within about 2 inches of the underside of my desk. It's nice :)
ok i'll break it down for you.
GOOD
huge
loads of bays
2 removable hard drive cages (3 drives in each)
brill quality
Fans : 3 front, 1 side, 2 rear
plus room above the psu for either a 92mm fan, 120mm fan with modding, a 2nd psu or a watercooling radiator.
Cable routing
Excellent Metallic finish
Drive Rails
Really Heavy so no bugger could ever run off with it.
Buttons have lovely action :)
Door hides beige drives
Cons:
no removable mobo tray
psu support can block airflow from fans on bottom of psu, but this can be fixed by drilling 2 hooles and sliding the support foward a bit.
All in all, if ur not going for a shuttle then this is an excellent opposite: loads of room for any upgrade you could wasnt to do, very high quality, looks the buissness. I bought mine form komplett and it cost me £90 inc a psu - So Ebuyer knocking these out for £29 is a real steal.
Cant recommend highly enough for a serious case.
hope this helps

You don't really need a removable tray in a matrix since its soooooo large :P
I fell in mine.
I bought a BX-02 from Ebuyer when they were doing them for £20 - it came in an Ebuyer branded box and had obviously been dropped before going in the box. However, because they're made from such good quality steel, damage was minimal and easily corrected.
So, I'd say 'go for it' but be aware that it may be £20 for a reason.
ebuyer 8-)...:@:( lol maybe nice if it arrives that is.and if they dont try and charge ya like 15-20quid just for postage8-)
