Unhappy NF7-S V2.0 Cold Boot Issue

    Hello everyone,

Has anyone got any suggestions as to the issue below. I have a NF7-S mobo, 9800 pro graphics flashed to XT, enermax 350 PSU. Recently the PC stuck on power on, all fans started, green and red light on mobo light, CD and DVD also started but no post, no beep, just a blank screen. Tried clearing the Cmos, holding the insert key on power on, nothing, nada. However on taking the 9800 out and powering up it started beeping again, put it back in and booted fine. Powered off and back on no problem. However after leaving it for a while the same thing happened again. Popped the 9800 out and powered on, it beeped, put it back in and away again..Any ideas much appreciated...

Hmm now that's one of the top 10 random problems i've encountered lately Blow into the AGP slot to see if there's any dust, and clean the graphics cards AGP connector with a pencil eraser.

The graphics card should have an almost-dedicated power connector too, so don't share it with too many devices. e.g. a power chain with two molex's and a floppy connector shouldn't be shared between lots of high-draining devices.

If you have a friend with a beast of a power supply then try it with that.

I was thinking it might be to do with the PSU and perhaps I hadn;t balanced the rails put properly, have 3200+, 2 HD's on SATA, a cdrw and dvdrw plus numerous fan's all running. Unplugged everything last night and reconnected all the fans + floppy on one rail, the HD's on the second rail and the 9800 on a third rail...
