my pc now does not get past post screen

my pc was working fine then all of a suddon crashed now no matter what i try it just crashes, and cant get into bios and allso tried anther hard drive that worked for about 2 hrs
at the time i was updating it and then crashed.
so the first thing i have noticed when i boot up computer then i hit tab to see screen with processor its now says

ide channel 0 slave:
ide channel 1 slave: iiy8

the two ii represent like to small blocks then y8

this stands out as the easiest thing to see.
if this does not make sense i wil get back and post spec e.t.c just have to write them down and post here
i use win7 ultimate and rest to follow oh main drive ssd and two 1t samsung drives

right an update reading posts etc i took all usb ports out this was for keyboard mouse and to my amazement booted straight away
btw g19 keyboard and cyborg rat 9 mouse and external hdd so just gunna play around with those until i figure out what if drivers or usb port is broken
