Thinking of upgrading my PC...
It looks like my OS needs re-installing, so now is a good time for a quick upgrade.
Current PC specs - http://jakg.ukct.net/Rig.html - (AMD Phenom 920, 8GB DDR800, ATi 4830)
Currently thinking...
2x2TB Seagate 7200.14 HDD's (+ 2x of my existing 1TB 7200.12's)
i5 or i7 Ivy Bridge (But I'm not sure which one - I was looking at something like the 3770k but reviews say the i5's can overclock to pretty much the same speed)
Not sure on the motherboard (Gigabyte G77-D3H seems ok - would like a decent motherboard to be able to overclock)
128GB SSD (Something like the Samsung 830 - not 100% sure which SSD to go for though)
16GB of RAM (not sure which kits are decent though)
Then keeping my existing ATi 4830, PSU (Hiper 670w), X-Fi and case. And running 7 and maybe upgrading to 8 when my copy arrives.
Is there anything better I could be buying?
Re: Thinking of upgrading my PC...
The question is do you need to upgrade? The biggest upgrade you will notice is the SSD by far, in that respect either a Crucial M4 or Samsung 830 are both excellent choices and proven reliable over time.

PC's a little slow working with lots of files in photoshop, plus due to the weird RAID array I can't add more storage (have less than 50GB free out of 4TB).
I hate re-installing Windows (current install is over 3.5 years old), and if I planned on upgrading I'm going to need a new motherboard so I thought i'd kill two birds with one stone.

I'd maybe half your RAM to 8GB and put the extra money into a bigger/faster SSD. I'm not sure what kind of work you do on your PC but are you sure you need 16GB?

Are you gaming or not?? What is your total budget?? CS6 also has OpenCL acceleration so getting a new graphics card might be useful.
This article looks at CS6:
