USB connections

My recently built system has the provision for front USB ports. The problem I have is although the motherboard manual refers to what wire is +5 -5 etc I have no colour reference and It looks like the plug could go into the motherboard either way.

it should say on each plug what the wires are for, if not then you should have got a manual with your case,
