Sub £200 Camera
Been looking at digital camera's recently and i am prepared to spend up to £200 on one. Needs to be at least 2MP (megapixel) and quite simple to use, yet the best value for money.
Currently been looking at THIS FUGI but before i buy i'd like to know is this good/value for money?
Thanks in advance :)

How about OLYMPUS MJU 400 - you could get that for £180 or so.
Canon IXUS IIS about the same?
I'm guessing from the Fuji that you want something that you can stick in your pocket?

Wow, if you could stretch like £60 futher you could get somthing like a Fuji Finepix S5000. If I was you i'd save just a little longer and get that.

Well, it being able to go into my pocket would be a bonus, but basically im looking for a nice looking, good camera for less than £200.
No, i cant stretch anymore, already stretched from £600 to £1,500 on my "shopping list". :)

Yeah, have a look at the Canon IXUS I/II. Seriously nice pieces of kit :)
Ebuyer have them at the cheapest prices I've seen.

If i were you i would wait until october. At the end of september sharp are going to release the smallest optical zoom camera in the world in Japan and as soon as they do other companys will quickly follow to match or beat it. Digi cams in japan have built in english menus so you can buy a japanese one.... There are some (british) online companies which will offer them straight away too for near enough the same price.
You should go to a camera shop and try out the ones and see which suit you the most.

I bought i Dimage X20 in Japan over a year ago which is a 2 megapixel 3x Optical Zoom camera. The zoom is internal so no one can tell you are which is really handy hehehe. and now about a 1/3 of what it was.
amazon do it for £98 now and ive seen it cheaper somewhere else maybe ebuyer i think.
I also like it because it takes normal aa batteries and NimH rechargables work great.
