What's the problem exactly?
my pc speakers broke and i cant be bothered to go and buy new ones so i wondered if i could plug the stereo speakers into my pc somehow as i want to listen to some mp3s.
You said "...plug my PC speakers into my PC" which confused me :) Thought you were having difficulties.
Anyway you'll need a 3.5mm to phono lead a la this:

And you'll need to connect the phono end (the red and black connectors) into an auxhilliary input on your stereo's amplifier, and other end (the one that looks like a plug on a set of headphones) into the line out on your soundcard (usually the green jack) :)
Yup - just check your hifi has a spare, or even has an aux input that'll accept a dual phono input :)
ok will go and buy one tomorrow cheers howard and unrealrocks
You're quite welcome :)
That's the setup i have atm, works fine for me, although the surond sound is messed up cause i placed my speakers before thinking about attaching it so my PC. Left speaker above my head and right speaker directly behind me, lol
