If you want a challange...you have been warned!

well..i have come in to a bit of money recently(haha!), in the sum of £100, now i throw down the gauntlet to the Hexus users, to build me a computer which is able to play CS well at a good resolution, which anybody can go and buy for £100, just a tower needs to be built, but if more can be had YOU ARE TEH W1N!

Not a chance, even buying the lowest specced stuff around. The only places would be 2nd hand like eBay or Loot.

If you had £200, then you 'may' be able to, but it wouldn't play at brilliant refresh rates.

If you had £300, you could probably get what you want.

Well lets bear in mind that my old 900 athlon and geforce 2 with 256 pc133 played cs at 1600 x 1200......

i dont think this is possible, even buying the worst bits you possibly can, as pc parts simply dont go that low.

second hand however, you may be able to do this.... you could check ebay or any local comp shop....

lol cheers mate, im a complete photoshop retard and that was my first ever sig, took me a while simply because I didn't know what the hell I was doing, but after enough muddling through it i'm happy with the results. Currently tweaking for some Xwing laser fire and make the text a bit better.

That wouldn't run CS at a high resolution, and probably wouldn't even play CS:S at all...

Get the magazine MicroMart from your newsagents, you'll be able to find a reconditioned PC in there, Athlon XP 2200+ spec for £90 - £100.
To err is human. To really foul things up ... you need a computer.

lol....it quite simply couldnt play CS 1.6 at any framerate at any res...my rig with a chip faster than a 3200+ with a gig of pc3500 (albeit with a gf4 ti4200) drops a lot of frames @ 1600x1200, and thats before someone chucks a smoke grenade.

    Good luck finding one though.
