Are Seagate hard drives the quietest?

the seagate baracuda 7200.7 120gb 8mb cache here : for £82 inc looks appealing... (with 3yr warranty)

Maxtor....I got some cheap 30gig ones from Ebuyer...they were both slimmer/thinner and quieter than anything I have ever used!

REPOST-ish:

As the site fondie posted shows, the Maxtor's and Seagate's are extremely close in noise levels.
The Maxtor's are faster and cheaper though

I would defiantly go Maxtor

run that seagate in my xbox, sooo silent, much more than the maxtor i found

Problem is it pruduces a lot more heat, which was a problem for my xbox,but should be ok in a pc
